What is the Employee Merchandise Store?

Carpenter’s Employee Merchandise Store is an online platform where employees can purchase company-branded items. The store is intended primarily for bulk orders. By centralizing the vendor, we are unifying the look and quality of Carpenter items that are worn and used by our team. This strengthens the Carpenter brand and improves our One Team philosophy.

Who can use the Employee Merchandise Store?

Carpenter employees located in North America can make purchases through the Employee Merch Store.

Am I required to order all Carpenter-branded items from the Employee Merchandise Store?

No, you are not required to order all of your Carpenter-branded items from the Employee Merch Store, but it is strongly encouraged. Items purchased through other vendors may not receive Brand approval or may not be approved for final payment.

Do I need Brand approval for items purchased from the Employee Merchandise Store?

No, all items available from the Employee Merch Store have already been approved.

What can I buy from the Employee Merchandise Store?

The Employee Merch Store offers a variety of Carpenter-branded items, including cups, hats, office supplies, apparel, and more unique items such as golf accessories, umbrellas and coolers.

How can I purchase something from the Employee Merchandise Store?

Follow these steps to complete your purchase:

  1. Add the item(s) you want to purchase to your cart. Once you have selected all your desired products, go to the cart.
  2. Click the 'Request a Quote' button on the right side of the screen, located under Order Summary. (Note: Login is required so you might see 'Login to Request Quote'. Your login will be your Carpenter email and a password you create.)
  3. Enter the shipping information and then 'Submit Quote Request'.
  4. After calculation from IDAmerica, you will receive a quote in an email along with a link to complete your purchase.
  5. Print or forward the quote, and use it to have a PO issued.
  6. Once the PO has been approved, click the link in the email to return to the Checkout screen.
  7. Enter the PO number in the appropriate box, then fill out your contact information. Please note that bulk items are only available to ship to Carpenter locations.
  8. Click 'Review & Pay'.
  9. Click 'Complete My Order'.


Follow these steps to complete a personal order:
  1. Add the item(s) you would like to purchase to your cart, then go to your cart.
  2. Click the “Request A Quote” button. Personal orders still require a quote so that shipping costs can be determined. (Note: Login is required, so you might see “Login to Request Quote.” Your login will be your Carpenter email and a password you create.)
  3. Check the box next to “Click to ship to your location and pay by credit card.”
  4. Enter the shipping address. Then Click “Submit Quote Request.”
  5. You will receive an email from ID America with a quote for your order that includes shipping charges. Click the link in the email to return to the Checkout screen.
  6. Use your personal credit card to complete the transaction.

Can I use a credit card to complete my purchase?

Bulk orders may only be completed using a PO, but you can use a personal credit card to make individual orders. No personal information is retained by the vendor.

Do NOT use a Carpenter credit card to make a purchase from the Employee Merch Store. Orders made with a Carpenter credit card will not be approved, and you will be responsible for refunding Carpenter the total amount of the transaction.

Is there a limit on the number of items I can buy?

Yes and no. Most items are available in minimum quantities, while other items are available as a single item. The available quantities are indicated for each item, so you will need to pay close attention while selecting your items.

What should I do if the price from another vendor is better?

Who do I contact if I want an item that isn’t offered in the Employee Merchandise Store?

Email brand@carpenter.com to have new items considered for the Employee Merch Store. Please note that new items could carry a higher initial cost.
